This Kardashian Kollection for Sears denim skirt was a great way to start off my week. So far I’ve had a really good experience with the collection especially since you never know what to expect when purchasing online.
Denim on denim, in my case chambray on denim (there is a difference) is a trend that involves pairing two different colors of denim (or the same) or chambray paired with denim, some people may call it the Canadian Tuxedo. Chambray is much lighter with a noticeably criss-cross weave (basic technique), where denim is weaved diagonally giving it a thicker and heavier feel. They both come in different shades of blue and are both made out of cotton. I usually go for shades not too distant from each other when paired together; I like to be able to have a few choices for accessorizing. I’ve always liked mixing denim (and chambray), it’s definitely a trend worth giving a try. I paired my blue look with a vintage gold necklace from Alexis Bittar and my ShoeMint grey suede pumps. Nothing more, nothing less.
Are you feeling this trend?
