I had so much fun with Halloween makeup last year that I decided to do it again this year! My go-to face painters always have to be the professional artists at Mac Cosmetics. I can’t thank them enough. They know exactly what you want and sometimes they’ll go above and beyond than your desired look.
I came across this costume after waiting too long for one that ended up selling out. It must have been fate because I didn’t see it either of my choices anywhere on Halloween (I can’t tell you what it is just in case I plan to do it next year. Wink, wink.)! I love the idea of coming up with a costume without spending a dime, but when you are as passionate as I am, I tend to break the bank just a little! Don’t get me wrong, I’m not spending anything out of MY Halloween budget. 🙂 Everyone is always fascinated by my costume choices and because of that I balance out my expenses this time a year to be able to meet my favorite holiday’s goals.
I was surprised at all the attention my costume got at the Halloween parade. Little Mary had total control of the crowd! Ha!
Fun Fact: In French, Marionette means Little Mary. Virgin Mary was one of the first figures to be made into a Marionette. (via Wikipedia)
