A little black dress goes a long way. You can’t go wrong with one no matter what the occasion. This LBD outfit was inspired by KKW on her trip to Cuba. I put this look together for a bachelorette party I attended 2 weeks ago. A bachelorette party or a club night is the only time you should go this short. Then of course there’s KKW that went sightseeing with all that sexiness. Instead of going for the choker with a cross like she did, I chose a heart locket velvet choker. Ever since I was little, I’ve had an obsession with hearts, so my 2 chainz moment both had pretty little hearts dangling from my neck. I kept my hair loose even though the heat made it impossible to keep it that way! Then there was the shoes: Stecy never lets me down. Ankle strap shoes are classy even with a mini dress. For a mini dress, I think the more delicate the shoe, the better. Stay away from platform shoes to avoid looking extra clunky and trashy. Also, opt for simple makeup for the girl who who wants to balance out her sexy.
Let that LBD shine!
Happy Hump Day! xoxo, BudgetSai

They don’t call it Transformation Tuesday for nothing. The weather went from gloomy to beautiful instantly yesterday, I had no choice but to dress for the better part of it. I took a risk with cream colored flared pants. Normally a higher waist and a darker shade are much more flattering, but hey you only live once! I went with same color palette in a vintage snakeskin print semi-cropped bustier that only showed a tiny bit of skin and thenude favorite that go with everything. No black in sight. I suited it off with a DVF jacket. The rest of my lunch break I spent strolling through the streets of SOHO with my sister. Even went into Mitchell Gold & Bob Williams home store for inspiration. In love with their Bastille Chair!
How do you think I did with a light monochromatic look?
Will you ladies be wearing cropped tops this Spring/Summer?
Happy Hump Day! Happy Earth Day AND Happy Administrative Professionals Day!
Today I’m taking the time out to share some fun facts with all of my readers. An insight on what it’s like to be me!

Started babysitting at that age. I was the babysitters club.
One thing I always carry in my bag besides my huge iPhone 6 Plus, wallet and keys is a prayer my dad gave me a few years ago. He said “take it everywhere you go for protection and don’t forget the $20 emergency cash too.”
Speaking of dad, I am the spitting image of him. Scary. -__-
I love all genres of music, but *Nsync was all I ever listened to in my teenage years.
Speaking of those years, I went to an all girl high school, Notre Dame in the West Village. What an adjustment.
I always wanted to be a dancer (because of Aaliyah first then Britney Spears). I would perform for family and friends whenever I learned their music video choreography.
And an interior decorator because of my mother who always loved to decorate our home growing up.
My favorite color is black, but I never like to decorate in black. Really weird.
I’m a true New Yorker (explains the black obsession), I couldn’t see myself living anywhere else.

I changed my own diaper as a baby. I am a neat freak.
I’m crazy about shoes. I haven’t reached 100, but I do have 100 (more) in mind.
I live in heels. If I could sleep in them I would. I like to feel tall at all times (I am barely 5′ 3”).
I have a green thumb. Thanks to my mama.
Favorite flower is the Rose.
My hair is naturally curly, but I prefer straight locks.
Yes I’m 29, who can’t drive, but loves to be driven. 🙂

My left side is my favorite side of my face, you can tell in the way I take my photos.
I’m a sucker for sweatshirts in the Winter, every time there is a high-low collaboration at Target or H&M, I have to have one.
Below is the sweatshirt I created on Bow and Drape‘s website. I just love a Made in NYC brand. The sweatshirt is cozy, fashionable and makes a great shameless plug. Wink, wink. You can pair it with a skater skirt or jeans for an overall casual look.
What do you think of my 25 fun facts?
How would have you designed your sweatshirt?
Have a fun-filled weekend!

Is a sexy red dress. I love, love, love red dresses. They make you look super hot without trying. Its such an eye-catching color and with this dress expect many compliments coming your way. The minute I saw this dress, I had to have it, I’ve been thinking about getting all the other colors too! I know its not cold outside, but these booties transition into the summer perfectly; they do not heat up your feet at all, besides they give this look a bit of a street style swag.
Trending this summer is dainty jewelry. I like to wear more than one necklace and make sure they each have a different charm. I’m very particular about chain lengths and thickness. For a perfect pile up, make sure there is just the right amount of space between them so that they don’t get tangled up in the front. Let each one be seen. The thinner the necklace the more delicate it will look.
It happened to be game night on Sunday so I felt like I needed to add more patriotic pieces to my look. I remembered I bought this cute little pouch last year for July 4th. I put it in my clear clutch and voila! Go USA!
