jumpsuit

Popular Demand

You all wanted to see me in this jumpsuit one more time so here it is and here I am! 🙂

This jumpsuit is definitely my go-to for date night, girls night, fun filled family gatherings, and even a quick run to the supermarket –any season goes! Today I chose a bootie and an overcoat for the cold weather. In the Spring you can wear it with high heeled lace up sandals, and during the Summer throw it over your swimsuit while letting it hang around your hips. I even like to wear it super casually with my favorite kicks aka sneakers. :p

This jumper suits (get it?) quite well with all vibes! So if you haven’t already, go get yourself one!

Jump

Ready to shake it in a jumpsuit and sky high heels at the Daddy Yankee concert…

Jumpsuits are great for the girl who is running late! Oops! One leg, second leg in and you’re good to go (and very quick to remove when you come back home all danced out). I slipped into these B by Brian Atwood pumps that I bought myself some birthdays ago and I have to say the 6 inch heel is as comfortable as it can get! Plus the jumpsuit was way too long so the height of the shoe paired up perfectly.

Sorry I’ve been missing in budgetsai action, but sometimes a mental break and some hair touch ups is needed before I can get back on my grind and on your Instagram feed. 🙂

Fall is here, are you ready for sweater weather? Happy Hump Day!

Bon Voyage 2014

Happy New Year!

Thank you all so much for all your likes, taking your time to comment and for all your support throughout the year. I appreciate it more than you know.

I can’t believe 2014 is gone and my one year ‘Budgetsai’ anniversary is right around the corner. I am thankful for all the love I’ve received from family, friends and those I’ve met along the way. I didn’t realize I wanted to do this until a friend told me to start a blog after using Instagram to share my daily outfit details. I was always interested in what people were wearing, but people would also ask me where I got what I was wearing? And I would actually feel like really? This? I’d tell them where, then they’d ask how much? And I’d say not much actually. I noticed that there were not too many budget style bloggers out there so I decide to give it a try. I love to share my budget finds with all of you and help out those close and not so close to me look for budget-friendly pieces whether it’s an everyday wardrobe, a night out on the town or just because you love a great deal.

Looking forward to share more of those great deals in 2015…

What would you like to see more of on my blog in 2015?

Below are some of your favorite looks of 2014:

Just Because

My parents just moved to an apartment in Midtown Manhattan. My mom is super excited to be back in our old neighborhood, next to my elementary school, close to my aunt’s house, and everything else Hell’s Kitchen has to offer. I especially can’t wait to visit the holiday window displays at fifth avenue. I arrived to this year’s Thanksgiving early with my sister, but my mom had already started the cooking. While waiting for the turkey, my photographer and I decided to take some outfit pics in the park across the street.

Cold weather can make you not want to set foot outside, but I finally got to wear this jumpsuit I had planned to wear earlier in the Fall. I’m loving jumpsuits right now. If you do too, make sure you adjust, every so often. I pulled up my pants so that the lace up shoes can show, and unbuttoned one button. I wanted to showoff my waist for an overall balance. I braved the temperatures in lace up sandals and no coat! It’s been 3 days since the shoot and thank goodness I feel fine! I planned my manicure color first and worked the outfit around it. It was a color I knew I had to wear now before all the usual reds and golds for December holiday madness.

This has to be one of the best shoots in a long time. The creativity, setting and shots were all done by my photographer, @zamansam (Instagram).

Will you be wearing jumpsuits this Winter?
How was everyone’s Thanksgiving?

xoxo, Budget$ai

Grown Woman

Closer to the two-nine. I didn’t have fancy plans Saturday night, but I still made it a point to dress up, lipstick and all. This Kardashian Kollection jumpsuit is one of my favorite jumpsuits that I own and this is my second time dressing it up. I like the combination of black and gold, but since the gold pieces really stand out I didn’t want to over do it. Wide or thin belts can be worn with a jumpsuit, or none at all. You can choose to have the jumpsuit be the center of attention on its own, dressy or casual. One thing I’ve learned as I’ve grown into the woman I am today is that too look good or feel good, you don’t have to overload on accessories or make-up!! Keep it simple and chic! My favorite lipstick this summer is Eyeko Pretty London Liptastick  lip pen in Hot Lips. I’m loving lip pens right now, they’re not as messy as lipsticks, but matte or satin are best for those hot and muggy days.

Do you like to dress up or down your jumpsuits? What is your go to lip color this summer?

xoxo, Budget$ai
