From Tulum to the streets of New York City, this time around as a blonde! I can’t wait to pair both my new hair and this denim dress with a turtleneck and knee high boots for the complete 70’s style inspiration. It’s still super hot over here so lace up sandals and a bold lip will do the trick for now. Hope you guys are enjoying walking the yellow brick road with me as I get closer to my blonde -ish hair goal!
How do you like the hair transition so far? Are you ready for Fall trends and cooler weather?

I can’t believe I am seeing the words Fall and Winter already! I don’t want the Summer to end, but girl and boy has it been HOT! To mix up a little bit of both seasons, I took an olive color midi, easy going dress and paired it with camel/brown ankle booties. Closed shoes are also a great way of covering up your ‘no time for a pedicure’ toes! The sunglasses and bright red lip added edginess to my Pre-Fall look.
Are you still shopping for Summer clothes or is your mind set on preparing for the Fall?
I decided to go for a low key celebration for my 10 year anniversary…a trip to the movies. What did I go see? Fifty Shades of Grey of course. It was the perfect movie for the occasion. The soundtrack is also a great listen if you want to get in the mood. I took a risk and dressed up for love and not necessarily for the weather. (Lol). Nothing says L-O-V-E like a LRD (little red dress). I went with a 50’s meets the 90’s vibe in my faux fur and choker combination.
How do you all think I pulled off my look? Did you watch Fifty Shades this past weekend? What did you think?

Go USA! I wore a striped Henley dress with red pumps to show my support for the team. I’m not big soccer fan, but I love it when we can all come together for world sports events. Horizontal stripes are tricky and can only be pulled off if balanced correctly. Here I chose a midi dress because it was long enough to make me look long enough. You always want to look leaner, for a more flattering effect. If you want to add the cherry on top, pair your horizontal stripes with a sleek high heel for instant height!
What do you prefer? Vertical or horizontal stripes?
