Sometimes we see loungewear as just that, lounge-wear, BUT -don’t you ever feel like you want to feel comfortable in something comfortably sexy too?
So for this laid back look, I cut up my leggings into capris -I just felt like the color needed to be cut down a bit and a little bare leg never hurt anybody. My men sized hoodie was long enough to cover the booty, the longer the better ladies (and gentlemen)! You can even get them as big and long as you want to wear as a dress with over the knee boots – SEX-Y! Speaking of sexy, the heels were the perfect compliment to the hoodie’s side silver zipper (so sorry there’s no close up, I promise there will be a next time).
Sexy (there’s that word again) and comfy is my mood as of late, will you join me?
How’s your hoodie collection stacking up?

…in my Loeffler Randall boyfriend cape. The best thing about Fall is the different jackets, cardigans, and capes you can throw on over your outfit and make it a part of your outfit. Outerwear doesn’t have to be just a piece of clothing to protect you from the up and down weather, let it be a fashion statement too. Leave it on and show it off. 🙂
Finally! I call this look a tall glass of milk. Why? It does a body good. 😉
All white is something that’s very happening this season. I chose to explore the trend to show that the monochromatic look can work for all shapes and sizes and still be work appropriate. Pulled my hair back into a ponytail (which I never do) to let the neck and the holes do the talking. It was a day of exploring new territory. For the office’s AC cool temperatures I threw on a blazer, but kept it warm weather friendly in lace up sandals. Fashion is all about a balancing act. 😉
Do you like my all white look or should I stick to my all black looks?

Last week I went for a different look, and this is what I came up with, a touch of boho chic. I stepped out of my comfort zone when I chose to wear these worn out (nothing wrong with that) suede boho type over the knee boots with my office uniform. Normally I would have gone with a nude pump, buttoned up the blazer and added a thin belt around the waist for a sleeker appearance (try it), instead I decided to loosen things up and let the blazer blow with the wind! To not look completely washed out, I pouted my lips with Nars Velvet Matte lip pencil in Cruella. I’m not a fan of wrinkles (who is really?) and normally I would have passed on posting this look, but in the real life office world, sitting in front of the computer is part of my job and you’re bound to get wrinkled the minute you sit down! A girl can’t stand all day in heels! Try to stay wrinkle free ladies and gentlemen!
I should really start taking these outfit photos before I get to work!
What do you think of this look? How was everyone’s weekend?
I’ve had this lace motorcycle jacket forever! My sister’s hair stylist (thank you Gladys!) thought she would be the best candidate for it 6 years ago! Wrong! I totally took control over it and kept it for myself. Only thing is, exactly that -it’s been 6 years! We’ve thought about dying it another color – of course black. Shaking my head! I can tell you it’s not like we weren’t into fashion then we just saw this piece as one of a kind and we didn’t want to f*** it up! How were we going to style this maroon (remember that episode from Saved By The Bell) colored jacket? Up until this week it has been in the cleaners pile (we were serious about the dying) the whole time. Every Fall -it’s like okay it blends in to the current season, now what? Well the best way to style a piece you aren’t familiar with is to keep it within it’s color group. That’s exactly what I did.
I decided to wear my H&M high waist burgundy, maroon, wine, whatever you want to call it pencil skirt, but I knew I couldn’t just pull off the jacket without anything underneath. I found this wool cropped top at a market in Jersey for $5, so I played around a bit. The top and skirt looked great together so I really didn’t need the jacket. At this point I’m like should I just get rid of this jacket? No! Let me work something out. I threw on the jacket and voila! Perfect! Finally! Next was the shoes. I knew they had to be nude, but what kind of shoe? It was chilly, but warming up later on so I went with the nude lace up sandals I just received in the mail a few days ago that are super chic looking and affordable! I’m thinking about getting the black ones too, they are only $29.80! And there you have it. Sometimes you hold on to some pieces for so long, but you know you can’t let go of them just yet! Give it a chance, especially if you know so much more can come from it.
Do you hold on to pieces of clothing for too long? That you’ve never worn?
Are you wearing your Fall colors already? How are you feeling this weather?
Happy Hump Day!
